Rogerio Jardim is a Brazilian-born drummer, singer, composer, producer, and visual artist based in San Pedro, California. With almost 40 years of professional career, Rogerio has traveled the world many times over as a performing musician, building a creative path deeply connected to rhythm, melody, nature, imagination, and artistic expression.

His album “Sing to Nature” is a compilation of songs from three self-produced albums: “Midraj 2 – Time to Change” from 2010, “Let Go the Line” from 2011, and “Gunpowder Candy” from 2013. These recordings represent a deeply personal period of musical exploration, blending Brazilian influences, progressive rock, pop, electronic textures, cinematic moods, and heartfelt songwriting. The music was recorded, produced, engineered, and arranged by Rogerio, who also performed drums, keyboards, vocals, and many of the core musical elements. Throughout the recordings, he was joined by wonderful and creative musicians who helped bring the songs to life with their own unique colors and energy.

“Sing to Nature” reflects Rogerio’s connection to the natural world, rhythm, emotion, transformation, and the invisible dialogue between sound and image. Some songs feel earthy and organic, while others move through dreamlike atmospheres, energetic grooves, and introspective melodies. Together, the album creates a journey through memory, movement, and imagination.

For the vt, Rogerio is curating a visual experience that connects his music with nature, performance, and his own artwork. The images will include landscape photography, artistic visuals, band moments, and original artwork, creating an immersive atmosphere that reflects the emotional and spiritual world of the album.
